I don't know about you, but I had no clue how to write an introduction letter or email.

Once I started writing it felt to me like:

„This doesn't sound good...!"

And: "Shall I claim all these things, that we provide best quality, best price and on-time-delivery,
our skilled merchandiser team and the wonderful latest collection...?"

Then I corrected it because it sounded like we are claiming self-superiority.

I tried outright bragging and faux modesty and took a more subtle approach...

Reworked it. Again, and again.
Not convincing at all.

"I wouldn’t buy from me", I thought. "What a mess!"

I hate to admit what I ended up doing was to write a generic corporate talk email with platitude after platitude.

Not, that this felt to me like a good option but at least it was what everybody seemed to be doing... - so it couldn't be that wrong.

But in my heart of hearts, I knew that this is not good.
Not even did I expect positive feedback on this.

And this was exactly what happened.

I’ll be the first to admit that my first introduction emails were a disaster.

And lackluster in response rate.

However, over time I have tweaked a lot around the edges of my introduction strategy and today I am obsessed with them as they are the BIGGEST profit generator inside my business. Because all businesses start with making the first connection.

The perfect introduction letter is a myth.

But maybe this is keeping us away from trying out something new.

Here's how you can switch the script:

Today I want to share with you one lesson I learned in a 7-minute video:

How to promote yourself as a garment exporter without bragging.

And I guarantee, it will change the way you write your introductions forever.

In this short video, I reveal the deadly delusion most garment exporters fall prey to without even knowing it while making an introduction. If you're running a garment export business or plan to―don't miss this.
